Services
Origination
We offer voice origination (DIDs) across the United States, both on our own CLEC footprint and through our off-net partner footprint.
On-net footprint: Maryland and New York are operational. Pennsylvania is next on the roadmap.
Off-net coverage: Through our carrier partners, we can provision DIDs in most US rate centers. Off-net numbers are ported or provisioned through our upstream providers and delivered to you over the same SIP infrastructure as our on-net inventory.
Provisioning: Numbers are provisioned via our real-time API. Search available inventory by rate center, NPA, or NPA-NXX. Activate, configure, and port numbers programmatically. No tickets, no waiting. See our developer documentation for details.
Number porting: We handle full LNP in and out. Our average port-in FOC is one to three business days for simple wireless and wireline ports. Complex ports and projects are handled case-by-case. See our number portability page for procedures.
Termination
We offer direct termination to our OCNs and termination across our tandem.
Direct termination: Traffic destined for numbers on our network is terminated directly. No LCR. No intermediaries. Your traffic hits our switch and gets delivered.
Tandem termination: We operate a tandem switch providing termination to carriers in our interconnected footprint. This is a pure tandem - we route to the terminating carrier based on standard LERG routing. No least-cost routing. No backstop providers. If we don’t have a direct route, we don’t fake one.
We don’t offer a nationwide termination product. We don’t want to. If you need nationwide term, there are solid providers who specialize in that. We’ll even point you in the right direction.
Transport
All services are delivered over SIP. We support standard SIP over UDP, TCP, and TLS, with SRTP available for media encryption. We peer via IP on the public internet or via private interconnection at supported facilities.
See our network page for technical details and our interconnection page for peering options.
Who This Is For
BWT sells wholesale services to other carriers, CLECs, VoIP providers, ITSPs, and qualified enterprise customers. You should be comfortable with SIP, understand what a rate center is, and know why you need what you’re buying.
If you’re looking to place high-volume short-duration calls, operate a dialer, or run call center traffic through our network - we’re not the place. This isn’t our jam, and our acceptable use policy prohibits it. Please don’t waste our time or yours.
If you’re a carrier or provider looking for a reliable wholesale partner with a clean network and honest routing, let’s talk.
